This session was very special for me. I was trying to be relaxed about it and lower my expectations; because with a toddler, you never know how it’s going to go. I never had the chance to get maternity pictures done with Addie. We were scheduled to take them on Good Friday, and I went into labor at 2 in the morning that day (three and a half weeks early). So needless to say, we picked a day well before Grayson due date…just to be safe.
I started by picking our colors and shopping for pieces that would “coordinate but not be too matchy” (as we tell our clients). Chris even went along with a shirt that he wouldn’t normally pick for himself- thanks babe! We had a great time taking these pics. Addie was her bubbly and silly self, but I love that her personality really came across in the pics. She’s so excited to be a big sister, and she going to be an awesome one!
And of course, I can’t post these pics without a couple huge shout-outs to my amazing sisters. Haley showed up early to our house to help get my hair and makeup all done, and then went to the session to be Mallory’s number 2 and help with Addie. And Mallory did an amazing job, as always. She captured some of my favorite pics of our of family to date. She was quick, knowing her niece has a sitting limit of 6 seconds, and gave us a great variety. I love both of you…thanks again!!!!
We are so excited to meet Grayson Cameron in early March!
